      The United Nations has set the theme of "World Water Day" in 2022 as "Groundwater-Making the Invisible Visible" (cherish groundwater and treasure hidden resources). The theme of my country's commemoration of "World Water Day" and "China Water Week" in 2022 is "promoting comprehensive management of groundwater overexploitation and revitalizing the ecological environment of rivers and lakes".

      According to the 2019 China Water Resources Bulletin, China's total water resources are 2,904.10 billion cubic meters, of which surface water resources are 2,799.33 billion cubic meters. The amount of groundwater resources is 819.15 billion cubic meters, and the number of groundwater and surface water resources is 104.77 billion cubic meters. Although the total amount of water resources in my country is large, the amount of available freshwater resources is small. After deducting the difficult-to-use flood runoff and groundwater resources scattered in remote areas, it is only about 1.1 trillion cubic meters, and the per capita utilization of water resources is about 900 million cubic meters. cubic meters, and the distribution is extremely uneven, and some areas are facing water shortage.
